As a Buyer, we came from dealing with a turbulent real estate business in Los Angeles, and after meeting with several real estate Agents here in Alabaster, we decided to put in David’s hands the search of our American dream.

During the course of acquiring our new home, I was surprised about how smooth all our process went from the first meeting with David in his office to the closing meeting with the builder’s attorney this week.

Colleen and David are professional real estate agents in the true sense of the word. They know exactly what to do, and when to do it. They guided us through each step, telling us the pros and cons of every situation. We trusted them implicitly because they did not try to sugar coat anything.

They worked very hard for us from the very first visit to our home until the end. Let me tell you that the end was not the day of closing. We ran into an obstacle with our moving company and could not move all of our belongings out of our home by the due date. Colleen and David helped us by stepping in, and over-seeing the pick up of the remainder of our belongings (after 10 p.m. in the evening!) while we were already several states away.

If you want real estate agents that exemplify integrity, choose Colleen and David.

There have been two other attempts at selling our home by other agents over the past three years. With the first agent, (while the market was at its peak) we had only three showings, not counting the many agents who "walked through" dutifully as that agency requires of its agents, and no offers. Our second listing resulted in eight showings, with no results, in hindsight because there was no real marketing. And THAT is the biggest difference between the Blacks and all the others we interviewed before listing a third time - they know how to market and get the customer involved in the efforts.

David and Colleen showed us how to stage our home, made minor updating recommendations for us follow to get a quicker sale, created a dynamite video demonstrating the beauty and value of the property, and followed up with establishing multiple advertising presences with the Internet and print.

Within three weeks of our signing the Listing Agreement, we had twelve showings, two offers, and a sale. Our sales price was almost $20,000 more than Jan believed we would be able to get, before working with Colleen and David.

Colleen and David are really great people personally, but sellers want results first - and the Blacks know how to deliver!

As a first time home buyer, I was very apprehensive about the process.

David and Colleen walked me through each step, and were very patient as I asked many questions. What I thought was going to be labored effort turned into a wonderful experience and that was made possible by David and Colleen.

First, I used a different Realtor. Second, I tried the For Sale By Owner route. Finally, I contacted Colleen Black from Keller Williams and told her how important it was for me to sell my house quickly.
